The Gang is still gushing about the Isaiah Thomas trade, while trying to hammer out some of the lineups… even more possible playoff talk… and life without Jared Sullinger. Dave drops a bit of bomb in segment two when he asks the questions…. is Sully a “borderline bust?” Kurt piles on by making a Michael Sweetney reference.

I think its unfair to call a pick from 15 on a “bust”. The expectations are almost non-existent for said draftee outside of their fan base. Sully may never be a long term starter but I bet my life earnings he stays in the league for a while barring major health concerns. How can that be considered a bust? Plus, most non-lotto picks never see the numbers Sullys put up since entering the league. And his one transferable skill has been the 1 thing hes been good at (rebounding). I hate defending this man this season but no, I don’t think its fair to call Sully a bust.

…Unless your a Celtics fan, than I understand your frustration.

sullys not a bust. hes just a fat turd. not a starter in this league. needs to find his role on the bench, come in to bang, grab some boards and contribute like he can on offense. not standing around the 3 point line and jacking 3’s.

lol sully is better than alot of players picked before him. Fans are just overreacting to sully admitting he is fatter than what is required of him.

We already knew that just by looking at him. Sully has the skillset to be great. He just needs to be in better shape.
