Delonte West has had a lot of problems lately... most recently some sort of domestic incident that spilled over at an airport.
So it's no surprise that Delonte is probably not going to play tonight. We know Glen Davis won't be playing for a while. His fellow LSU Tiger Shaquille O'Neal talked about Baby today.
After the requisite laughter, O’Neal went on.
“But he’s a great player,” he said. “I’ve been knowing him ever since (he was) a youngster. (He) works hard, has been working hard on his game.
“It’s an unfortunate incident, but, you know, one thing about him is he’s a focused individual. So he realizes that he may have made a mistake, so he’s going to come back more focused than ever.”
Still waiting for more detail on Davis and exactly what the club will do with him, and what caused the altercation that led to the broken thumb. A suspension would be a big deal for Baby since he hasn't had much of a career yet to pile up the cash. Losing income now would be tough for him.
