Holy hell…. I can’t begin to process this information. It’s one thing for the Celtics to pursue Kevin Love or DeMarcus Cousins, it’s another thing for them to bring back Paul Pierce for another title run.

PS – How the heck does Robin Lopez fit into this situation? Is he best-buds with Kevin Love or something?

  I was just thinking the same thing. I used to fall for this type of dream scenario in the past. Now, I’ll believe it when I see it! Too good to be true,…unfortunately.

Is Robin the best or most attainable center? What about Tyson Chandler? Asik? or maybe even Ezil(sp) from GS? The challenge for the Celtics and all other teams is that, the free agency doesn’t happen until after the draft so you really don’t know who is willing to come. If we knew who was interested, it makes things easier in deciding whether to trade picks, who for or to keep them.

I don’t know if this is allowable but it would be good to know who is willing to play for Boston before the July 1st date. I would like Aldridge over Love. If that can be done, then try and get Chandler to play center unless we’re going in the “small ball” direction. I like Ezeli as an inexpensive solution
