Anthony Davis rejects everything Kendrick Perkins has to offer

Chuck - Red's Army December 3, 2014 Around the NBA, Kendrick Perkins 16 Comments

Kendrick Perkins does everything right on this post move. Backs his opponent in, creates space with the shoulder bump, and goes with the usually block-proof jump hook.

The only problem? He went up against super freak Anthony Davis.

No surprise I’m undefeated in my fantasy league where I picked Davis #2 overall. People picking Lebron over him were chumps. Though I did win my league last year with Lebron.

Oh for an Anthony Davis of our own.

      • eddysamson

Dude seriously my GOD that would be insane.

Haha eddy, you can win fantasy bball with a myriad of different rosters/players. Depends on scoring settings but there would be very few situations where Davis would be a better player to pick than Lebron. (I hate bron but when it comes to fantasy all players are just numbers to me).

If you ever have any fantasy bball questions, let me know. I’ve finished 1st or 2nd in 12 out of my last 14 leagues (the other 2 finishes being 3rd).

Uhhhh…what? I have 2 teams in 2 leagues with completely different scoring settings. Anthony Davis is #1 in both, Lebron is #7 in one and #8 in another. Plus Davis is a PF/C which is probably the hardest position to fill with solid fantasy players (as opposed to solid NBA players).

Lets see in one league Davis averages 48.4 fantasy points a game, where Lebron is at 39.1. In the other league with mostly standard scoring he is at 53.8 points a game compared to Lebron’s 44.4

        This isn’t last year.

Like I said depends on scoring settings. You must not have a similar league/site, mine doesn’t work in terms of “fantasy points per game”, so I can’t speak on anything like that.

Also, in my league, Lebron isn’t ranked 1 either, but we were talking about your draft…not in hindsight based on a month of basketball sample size.

If “winning” in fantasy sports means relying on LeBron to play well, count me out.

      • KGino

It doesn’t lol. I root for him to get injured even if I happen to draft him. Only player in the league besides maybe dwight and deron I would wish injury upon

        • CoolRapQuote

You wish injury on Deron Williams? He’s never done anything wrong to the celtics. He’s not that good anymore. What’s your beef?

  • bill_nair

    That boy is special.

  • CoolRapQuote

I LOVE watching Anthony Davis play. If I see that the Pelicans are playing at the same time as the celtics, I’ll usually flip back and forth, and sometimes put more focus on the NOLA game.

      Thats weird

      • CoolRapQuote

I guess it is weird to want to watch a potential top 15 all time player instead of a boring, dumpster fire of a team blow leads every night.

  • forever_green

I don’t care I still what Perk back.

  • BillRussell

olynyk, bradley, rondo, and 20million in cash to NO for A Davis. lol

  • CoolRapQuote
