Comcast Sports Net was kind enough to invite us to their tip-off luncheon today. It was a fantastic day that celebrated Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn's 30 years of broadcasting together... as well as the upcoming Celtics season.
I had a chance to speak to Mike and Tommy for a few minutes, and then grab Tommy for a 1-on-1 interview.
In it, we talk about where his passion for the game comes from, the greatness of Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo (whom he calls a future Hall of Famer), Shaq's influence, how this team compares to other C's teams, how the C's match up with Miami, and what made Red Auerbach so great. He also gives Doc a nice nod when talking about Red.
